A fellow of both the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and the Malta Institute of Accountants, Nicky Camilleri is a seasoned finance professional with a track record of delivering excellent results.
Over the past 20 years, Nicky has held various senior finance positions both domestically and overseas. He began his career at Dhalia Real Estate as Financial Controller in 2004 and went on to hold the CFO role at Corinthia subsidiary Palm City Residence in Libya and at Premier Capital p.l.c., where he successfully oversaw the financial operations of the McDonald’s franchisor in Malta, the Baltics, and Greece. From 2014, Camilleri served as CFO of the Mizzi Organisation, where he successfully secured major funding for key projects and drove the organisation’s financial performance, and successfully raised finance from the local markets. In December 2019, Nicky also took a leading role in the Arkadia and Valletta Market operations. In addition, Camilleri holds the coveted CPA designation.
Joining AX Group as Chief Operations Officer in 2023, Nicky brings his unparalleled expertise to this rapidly expanding diversified corporation. In the role, he will oversee day-to-day operations, provide strategic guidance, and ensure the smooth functioning of all aspects of the business, leveraging his outstanding leadership skills and financial acumen to drive continued growth and success.
