Marthese Vella is an Information Technology veteran with a career spanning over 30 years holding various senior IT management positions in the hospitality and travel industry as well as lead advisory positions with established advisory firms. Her areas of specialisation include leading organisations through digital transformation, IT governance, IT strategic planning and cybersecurity.
Marthese is and Electrical Engineer by profession and holds a Master’s Degree in Information Management from Lancaster University (UK). She holds a number of industry certifications including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), ISO27001 Certified ISMS Lead Implementer and GDPR Practitioner.
Marthese is currently a member of the Committee of Administrators of the eSkills Malta Foundation and is an advocate for the increase in number of students taking up ICT subjects in Malta.
