This Pink October, AX Group spearheaded a campaign across its business sectors to honour breast cancer awareness, encourage early detection, and support those affected. Under the theme “Hope Starts with Awareness,” the Group’s initiatives showcased a unified commitment to raising vital awareness and promoting regular health checks.
Reflecting the strong commitment to both breast cancer and mental health awareness, all funds raised from AX Group employees through various initiatives held across business sectors will be donated to Hospice Malta. Through these efforts, we aim to bring hope to those affected and encourage a culture of proactive health and support.
Throughout October, AX Group employees demonstrated solidarity by wearing pink attire or ribbons, sharing pink-themed treats, and participating in activities that emphasised the purpose of the campaign. Team members from across the Group also shared personal stories and positive messages through a series of messages shared on AX online channels, encouraging others to prioritise health checks. These positive messages, shared throughout the month, conveyed hope and resilience, designed to inspire, educate, and foster a supportive community within AX Group.
AX Group’s awareness efforts will continue into November, culminating in the annual Pink October and Movember Walk, symbolising the Group’s ongoing support for breast, prostate and mental health awareness. To further promote early detection, AX Group is collaborating with Saint James Hospital to offer employees within the age brackets, discounts on mammograms, ultrasounds, and MRIs.
Through these initiatives, AX Group emphasises that awareness is only the beginning—and with it comes hope for a healthier future.
