AX Foundation, the charitable arm of AX Group, is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Femeraid International Cross of Honour for Humanitarian Work by the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories. The honour was presented during the Knighthood Ceremony held in Malta last Saturday.
The Femeraid International Cross of Honour for Humanitarian Work is awarded to individuals and institutions in recognition of exceptional service to humanity. This prestigious award was presented to Mrs Josephine Xuereb, acknowledging the long-standing commitment to social causes and humanitarian efforts through the AX Foundation. Founded in 1996 by Mrs Xuereb, the AX Foundation has grown under her vision and dedication. In 2019, Ms Claire Xuereb was appointed Chairperson, succeeding Mrs Xuereb and continue to inspire the Foundation’s mission, alongside the continued commitment of Deputy Chairperson, Mr. Joseph Borg. Mr Angelo Xuereb was also present, reflecting the Group’s enduring commitment to giving back and supporting the communities we serve.
This recognition stands as a testament to AX Foundation’s enduring dedication to humanitarian work and its ongoing efforts to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
