At AX Group, we recognise the invaluable contributions of the women who help drive our company forward. In celebration of International Women’s Day, all AX Group sectors organised various initiatives and activities to honour, support and appreciate the women within our workforce.
This year, at AX Business Centre we took an extra step to extend this celebration beyond our organisation and into the community. In collaboration with Dar Merħba Bik, a local NGO dedicated to supporting women and children in need, employees rallied behind their call for support and donated essential daily necessities. These contributions, including hygiene products, toiletries and other comfort items, aim to provide dignity and relief to those seeking refuge and support.
As part of this initiative, members of our HR Team, Marica Baldacchino and Karl Briffa, welcomed Rita Apap Gauci from Dar Merħba Bik to the AX Business Centre to collect the generous donations. Their visit not only highlighted the compassion and generosity of out employees but also reinforces AX Group’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility.
